Mr. Jayant Kulkarni, M.E. (Structures), stands as the esteemed founder and Managing Director of Epicons Consultants Pvt. Ltd., a role he has held with distinction since 1990. With an prestigious career spanning over three decades, Mr. Kulkarni has been the guiding force behind Epicons since its inception in 1985, achieving extraordinary success in the realms of structural design, project management, and engineering consultancy.
A postgraduate alumnus of VJTI, Mumbai University, Mr. Kulkarni commenced his professional journey as a lecturer at VJTI and Sir J.J. College of Architecture, concurrently serving as a Design Engineer at Shrikhande Consultants. His relentless pursuit of knowledge culminated in the acquisition of a P.G. Diploma in Indian Aesthetics in 2002.
Mr. Kulkarni’s expertise spans a wide spectrum, encompassing structural design, seismic retrofitting, concrete technology, project management, and non-destructive testing. His extensive knowledge has garnered him widespread respect, evidenced by his facilitation of over 62 workshops on diverse topics including repairs, construction chemicals, and high-rise building design.
Beyond his technical prowess, Mr. Kulkarni remains deeply committed to social causes. As a founding member and trustee of the ‘We Need You Society,’ he has been actively involved in initiatives promoting pre-primary education, youth orientation, trade courses, and the empowerment of women since 1987.
A revered figure within professional circles, Mr. Kulkarni holds esteemed affiliations, including Associate membership of the Institute of Engineers (F.I.E.), Affiliate status with the Institute of Valuers, and Life Membership of ISSE and ACCE. Additionally, he is a licensed practicing engineer accredited by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.
