Ravindra Deshpande has been an indispensable asset to Epicons Consultants since its inception in 1985. Currently serving as a Director, he plays a pivotal role in the company's top-tier management, overseeing the prestigious structural design Unit III located in the heart of Dadar, Mumbai. A distinguished graduate in Civil Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai in 1976, Mr. Deshpande pursued his academic aspirations further by attaining a master's degree in structures from the same esteemed institute in 1981. With an noteworthy career spanning over four decades, he has meticulously honed his expertise in structural engineering through various leadership positions in consultancy firms prior to his esteemed tenure with Epicons.
Mr. Deshpande’s proficiency lies in crafting resilient and sophisticated structural systems tailored to the unique requirements of each architectural marvel, meticulously adhering to the stringent regulations set forth by IS standards. His exceptional leadership has garnered his unit prestigious accolades, including the esteemed “Best RCC Structure of Uttarakhand” award for the ONGC corporate office in Dehradun, conferred by ICI & Ultratech.
As an esteemed member of renowned organizations such as the Institution of Engineers, Indian Society of Structural Engineers, and the Indian Concrete Institute, Mr. Deshpande also lends his expertise to academia, serving as an external examiner for esteemed institutions like VJTI and Balwant Sheth College of Architecture. Beyond his professional pursuits, he finds solace in the refinement of his craft through formal training in the art of Indian Classical Music.
